Most Reverend Keith J. Chylinski, Auxiliary Bishop of Philadelphia, will visit Saint Lucy School for Children with Visual Impairments in the Greater Northeast section of Philadelphia, to celebrate a Mass of Thanksgiving for the 70th anniversary of the school. Bishop Chylinski oversees the ministry of Catholic education as part of his pastoral and administrative duties in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. Reverend Brian A. Izzo, Pastor of Saint Jerome Parish, will concelebrate.

Saint Elizabeth Parish School in Chester Springs (Chester County) will celebrate its designation as a 2025 Blue Ribbon School by the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) with a “Blue Christmas” celebration. The school community including its 196 students will be decked out in blue ribbon shirts to commemorate this honor.

More than 100 Catholic parishes, schools, and charitable ministries throughout the five-county Catholic Church of Philadelphia are participating in #iGiveCatholic today. The initiative, locally spearheaded by The Catholic Foundation of Greater Philadelphia in partnership with the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, has raised over $7.4 million for Catholic entities in the Archdiocese since 2020.

Most Reverend Keith J. Chylinski, the Auxiliary Bishop of Philadelphia who oversees Catholic Education in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, will visit Saints Peter and Paul Parish School in West Chester (Chester County) and celebrate Mass for the school community. Reverend Michael Reilly, Pastor, and Reverend Joseph Ganong Suh, Parochial Vicar, will concelebrate. Deacon Declan Cole will provide liturgical assistance.
