The Archdiocese of Philadelphia’s Office of Catholic Education (OCE) and Faith in the Future Foundation (FIF) are pleased to announce that Mr. Matt Russell, the Chief Advancement and Business Development Officer for the National Catholic Educational Association, will serve as the keynote speaker for Cultivate 2019. It is the fourth annual Advancement Conference for Catholic educators throughout the region sponsored by OCE and FIF.
Cultivate 2019 will take place June 18-19, 2019, at Normandy Farm Conference Center in Blue Bell (Montgomery County). Designed to provide Catholic school educators, admissions directors, advancement directors and development directors with the tools to help lead their school’s growth now and into the future, the conference also provides the opportunity to network and to hear from industry experts on best practices in the areas of Enrollment/Marketing, Development, and Leadership.
The two-day conference will feature twenty-five sessions, including a three-part track on day one of the conference led by Kishshana Palmer, CFRE. Ms. Palmer will share insights on how Culture Eats Philanthropy. Attendees will hear how culture influences one’s ability to lead, to transform and to inspire people internally and stakeholders externally. Participants will also learn how to leverage their culture to grow philanthropic support for their organization and get everyone involved as ambassadors for their cause. In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in sessions such as Understanding the National Market Research on Catholic Schools; Journey Mapping: Optimizing the experiences of your target audiences to maximize enrollment and philanthropy; Using Tech to Make Your Life Easier: Tips and Tricks for School Administrators; Strategic Use of Financial Aid; and Ask the Expert: Capital Campaigns, Planned Giving, Board Engagement, and Data Management.
