PHILADELPHIA, PA – Sr. Maureen McDermott, IHM, PhD, Superintendent for Secondary Schools, Office of Catholic Education, has announced the 2018 Archdiocese of Philadelphia Fall Sports Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll, which recognizes the high school student-athletes of the Archdiocese who earned first or second academic honors in the first quarter marking period while competing in cross country, field hockey, soccer, golf, girls’ tennis, football and girls’ volleyball.

“I commend these students for their high achievement in the classroom and sportsmanship in athletic competition during the Fall semester, says McDermott.  “These young men and women truly embody the student-athlete experience.”
