High School Math and Science Teachers

Archdiocese of Philadelphia High Schools are seeking teachers with competencies in Algebra, Geometry, Biology, Chemistry and Physics

RESPONSIBILITIES OF TEACHER:

  • Prepare and deliver engaging and structured lectures to students
  • Teach content and skills, utilizing curriculum designated by Archdiocese of Philadelphia High Schools
  • Collaborate with other teachers to create course materials
  • Develop in each student an understanding of math/science concepts
  • Adapt materials and methods to develop assignments and lesson plans that guide and challenge students
  • Monitor students’ development
  • Ensure compliance with school policies, regulations and objectives

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in education.
  • PA Certification preferred

Interviews will be granted to the most qualified applicants. A letter of recommendation from the pastor of the parish in which the applicant is registered must be provided. PA required clearances, Safe Environment Clearances, and official transcripts will be required before employment can begin.
