High School SCIENCE TEACHERS – Chemistry and Physics

 

The Archdiocese of Philadelphia is seeking certified full-time Science teachers who are highly qualified to teach our high school students. These positions will be staffed with professional educators who provide excellent learning experiences and establishing a culture of high expectations in Chemistry and Physics.

 

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES OF SCIENCE TEACHER:

  • Prepare and deliver engaging and structured lectures to students
  • Teach science courses, utilizing curriculum designated by AOP High Schools
  • Collaborate with other teachers to create course materials
  • Develop in each student an understanding of science concepts
  • Adapt materials and methods to develop assignments and lesson plans that guide and challenge students
  • Monitor students’ development
  • Ensure compliance with school policies, regulations and objectives

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
