PHILADELPHIA, PA – Senior guard Quade Green was presented with his game jersey for the 2017 McDonald’s All-American Boys Basketball Game during a ceremony on Monday afternoon on the campus of Neumann-Goretti High School.
Representatives from the McDonald’s All-American Hometown Heroes presented by American Family Insurance gave Green his jersey that he will wear in the contest on Mar. 29 at the United Center in Chicago. The contest will air live on ESPN. Green has signed a National Letter of Intent to attend the University of Kentucky next season.
Since 1978, the McDonald’s All-American Games have showcased the best high school basketball talent in the nation, including former participants Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan, LeBron James and Kevin Durant. Annually, 24 boys and 24 girls are selected from a pool of more than 800 nominees from across the country.
Under the direction of head coach Carl Arrigale,Neumann-Goretti boasts a perfect 7-0 record in Philadelphia Catholic League play this season.
