Three Archdiocesan Elementary Schools Recognized at the Annual Keystone Awards Ceremony

On Sunday, December 9th the annual Keystone Awards Ceremony were held in Hershey, PA. Sponsored by the Department of Education of the State of PA, the ceremony recognized the “Milliken Teacher of the Year,” as well as, the “Blue Ribbon Schools” of the state. At the awards administrators from the three 2015 Blue Ribbon Archdiocesan Elementary Schools, Our Mother of Consolation in the Chestnut Hill section of Philadelphia, Saint Agnes Parish School in West Chester (Chester County) and Saint Norbert Parish School in Paoli (Chester County), as well as, Sister Edward William Quinn, IHM, Director of Elementary Curriculum, Instruction and Staff Development for the Office of Catholic Education were in attendance.

Below are a few great items of recognition from the event:
• The Archdiocese had more 2015 Blue Ribbon Awardees than any other school district in the state
• ¼ of the 2015 Elementary awardees in the state were Archdiocesan schools.
