Monday, November 24th

On Monday, November 17th Blessed Trinity Regional Catholic School in the Mayfair section of Philadelphia held a blessing of their new state-of-the-art LabLearner science lab, which opened at the start of the 2014-2015 academic year. Bishop Michael J. Fitzgerald, who oversees Catholic education in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, presided over the blessing.

The LabLearner science lab at Blessed Trinity was made possible by an anonymous $80,000 donation procured by the Office of Catholic Education. Students in grades Pre-K through eight utilize the lab.

Faculty members at Blessed Trinity have received professional development training and have ongoing access to a LabLearner Ph.D. scientist for consultation. The LabLearner program offers teachers on-line resources that include videos, slide presentations and transparencies that are viewed in the classrooms using SMART Boards.
